During this three-session class, students will be guided through the entire process of creating a quilt from start to finish using Juli Rae’s Ventanas Quilt pattern.

How to sew a (mostly) straight line

Preparing and cutting fabric
Techniques for accurate and efficient piecing
Maintaining a ¼ inch seam allowance
Assembling the quilt sandwich
Basting
Quilting and binding

Upon registration you will receive a link to download the Ventanas Quilt pattern files. Please refer to the pattern to determine which version you want to make.
Version A:
Color A: ¾ yard quilting cotton
Color B: 1 yard quilting cotton
Color C: ½ yard quilting cotton
Version B:
Color A: ¾ yard quilting cotton
Color B: 1 yard quilting cotton
Color C, D, E, and F: ⅛ yard (or fat quarter) each quilting cotton
Both versions:
2⅞ yards backing fabric
½ Yard quilting cotton for binding
Neutral or coordinating thread for piecing
